A mid-Florida Chapter event in early Spring saw Fulbright alumni, and visiting students and scholars experience an American ‘slice of life’ at an old-fashioned picnic Tampa’s Plant Park. Entertainment was much to be had in the form of vintage costumes, music, and puppet performances on center stage. This event followed a brunch for alumni at Le Mérdien, a luxurious hotel in Downtown Tampa, converted from a century-old Federal Courthouse.
